Bloomly Privacy Policy

Effective: May 27, 2026 Last updated: June 6, 2026

Bloomly is a wellness journaling app made by Adrian Dimac, operating as Dimac Media LTD. This page explains in plain language what we collect, why, the legal basis we rely on, where your data goes, and the rights you have over it. Email us at [email protected] with questions.

We've structured this so the most important bits — what we collect and how to control it — come first. The jurisdiction-specific sections (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA) at the bottom expand on the rights summarized up top.

What Bloomly is, and isn't

Bloomly is a personal journal for tracking skin, food, products, mood, sleep, and routines. Bloomly is not a medical service, does not provide medical advice, and does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a medical concern, see a clinician. We describe what's visible in photos; we do not interpret it as diagnosis.

Special category data — your skin photos

Photos of your skin, and the severity scores and notes you attach to them, may be considered "data concerning health" under GDPR Art. 9 (and equivalent special-category data under UK GDPR). We process this data only with your explicit consent, which you give when you tick the consent checkbox during account creation.

You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account in Settings — that wipes all photos and associated records within 30 days. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
